For the past 15 years, we have been running workshops for anyone who wants to learn this intricate and rewarding art form. Our studio is home to a number of different courses, including taster sessions and workshops for beginners. At Dice Designs, we are passionate about the art of handmade wood turning. Our experienced artist Iain guides you in this workshop where you can create your own hand turned wooden bowl. Iain will also show you how to oil your finished piece to bring out the grain and beauty of the wood. This workshop is approximately 1 and a half hours and Iain will run through with you health and safety use of the equipment, discuss different aspects of the wood and a with his guidance and your own creativity, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece that is both beautiful and functional.
