The talented and passionate Sarah Keeley-Norris is hosting a series of glass fusing workshops at her pop-up studio on 67a High Street, Knaresborough, from 5th to 11th August 2024, which also coincides with the first three days of Knaresborough’s FEVA


Whether you’re a novice eager to explore a new hobby or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, Sarah’s workshops offer something unique for everyone.

Honey Pot Fused Glass Workshop


Imagine creating a delightful honeybee scene that will bring a touch of nature’s charm into your home. 


The Honey Pot Fused Glass Workshop invites you to craft your very own honeybee masterpiece using murrini, frits, stringers, and bee-themed glass elements. 


This workshop is perfect for all skill levels as it involves no glass cutting, ensuring a fun and 

stress-free experience.


The vibrant bee and hive motifs you create will not only be a testament to your artistic abilities but also a beautiful addition to your décor. The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 10 and above, making it a fantastic family-friendly activity.


Your creation will undergo kiln firing and be ready for collection within a week of your workshop, ensuring you leave with a polished, professional piece. 


If you’re not able to come on your chosen date, there’s some flexibility, as we all know how life can be. You can reschedule within six months of your initial booking.

Sheep in a Meadow Glass Workshop


For those who find joy in the more familiar countryside scenes, the Sheep in a Meadow Glass Workshop is an absolute must. This workshop allows you to design a lovely sheep scene using a mix of coloured frits, stringers, murrine, and charming glass bees and ladybirds. Like the Honey Pot workshop, this session is accessible to all skill levels as it does not require glass cutting.


This workshop is your chance to create a serene and idyllic meadow scene. The process is both therapeutic and rewarding, and the result is a unique glass art piece that adds a touch of tranquillity to any space.


This workshop is also open to anyone aged 10 and above, making it an excellent activity for both adults and children. 


With kiln firing included, your finished piece will be ready for collection within a week. If your plans change, you have the option to reschedule within six months, ensuring you don’t miss 

out on this delightful creative experience.

Umbellifer Glass Workshop


Step into the world of botanical beauty with the Umbellifer Glass Workshop. This workshop provides an opportunity to create a stunning umbellifer design using enamel pens and a selection of coloured frits.


As this workshop doesn’t require you to cut your own glass, it’s accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you’ve got experience or not. 


Umbellifers, with their delicate, umbrella-like clusters of flowers, make for elegant and sophisticated glass art pieces. Under Sarah’s expert guidance, you’ll learn to blend colours and shapes to capture the intricate beauty of these plants. 


This workshop is suitable for ages 10 and up, providing a wonderful opportunity for family bonding or a solo creative retreat.

Puzzle Coaster Glass Workshop


Last but certainly not least, the Puzzle Coaster Glass Workshop offers a playful and practical approach to glass fusing. In this workshop, you’ll create four unique coasters using a choice of transparent and opal glass in blue, green, or yellow/orange. 


With pre-cut coloured glass and templates provided, this workshop is designed for ease and enjoyment, with no glass cutting involved.


This workshop is perfect for those who love both puzzles and art. The coasters you create will not only serve a practical purpose but also showcase your creativity every time you use them. Anyone aged 10 and above are welcome.


Your coasters will be kiln-fired and ready for collection within a week.

Dream Catcher Children's Workshop

Looking for a fun and creative activity for your little ones? Then the Dream Catcher children’s workshop is right for you. 


This delightful workshop uses pre-fired glass pieces for maximum safety, giving children aged 6 and above the chance to design and create their own unique dream catchers in a safe, secure and fun environment.


This group workshop is limited to six participants per session, and it's a fantastic opportunity for kids to explore their artistic side while creating a beautiful dream catcher.
